Before you call Bush a hero read awolbush.com and check out what he was doing when it was his turn to serve. In fact there's a name on the Vietnam Wall of a KIA soldier with Bush's exact firthday. That man died so Bush could go AWOL and avoid the draft. The draft was mandatory for Bush after he went AWOL but he just plain disappeared and got away with it.
