Given the fuzzy guidance that they are providing the street at this point, I would have to say that management is not concerned at this point about stock price, and therefore I expect that it will spiral down for awhile. To me the best clue that it is time to buy will be insider buying. Remember that the British gentleman who previously owned Electrotech was paid $75m in cash. As such, he is in a position to buy a significant stake in this company, if not a controlling interest, should he believe that it is wise to do so. The fact that neither he nor the other insiders have made any purchases to date indicates their lack of confidence about the future and the fact that they do not consider the stock a bargain at this price.
