i tend to agree with you. i think the death of saddam's sons provides an "underpinning" of support for the market inasmuch it helps demonstrate to the forces in iraq that are attacking that their resistance will ultimately fail...one by one, we will take their leadership out as we find them. and this means the problems of the war aftermath will look less daunting for our troops and the iraqis who are trying to help implement reform...and that will be bullish for the markets. qusay was at the top of the list (he was the leader of his dad's personal security force and the republican guard) these are the guys that are killing our guys. crush the head of the snake to kill it... scroll down for background on qusay. usinfo.state.gov
