I think that there is a very important factor here that you are ignoring....I am not short. That should be proof enough that the market is going down. In fact, I am actually long (HLSH).

there certainly was a strong reaction in crude though. And I agree, if crude drops to the low 20s, that could fuel a real fundies based rally.
