I think exactly as Godot on this. As long as they don't move markets too much they can even stockpile. Seems like a nice simple hedge against building up too much USD holdings. Wouldn't work for the Saudis I guess but the Chinese can actually use what they buy. Is there a significant Chinese SPR yet ?
