wstera, I call it as I see it. You keep appealing to what you think are the sensibilities of some others on this board as if it is so VERY important that you dominate this place and win your point of view. Guess what ? I don't care to win a popularity contest like you are apparently obsessed with. I don't care if you are offended by what you call my "consistent anti-Americanism....." Yes I meant what I said. I would NEVER go to war and give my life for an idiot like you have in your White House. Those that do are just plain stupid in my opinion. I felt that way during the Vietnam War also. It cannot ever be argued that The Vietnam war or this one was in self defense. Self defense 'might' be the only criteria where I would even consider picking up a gun and killing someone on someone elses orders. No go out and kill Saddam so those soldiers can get out of Iraq before they do any more damage to innocent civilians. BTW I just heard that the gunshots that were going off in Baghdad were not those of celebrating Iraqi's, who are not allowed to have guns much less bring them out and fire them in the air, but were from the thousands of US soldiers firing them as they heard the good news.
