International Canalaska Resources Ltd - Voisey's Bay exploration developments International Canalaska Resources Ltd ICA Shares issued 15918260 1997-08-01 close $0.93 Tuesday Aug 5 1997 Also Columbia Yukon Resources Ltd (CYR) Mr Harry Barr reports Preliminary interpretation of the recently completed magneto telluric survey conducted on the VBE-1 claim block indicates the presence of a number of geophysical anomalies on the three lines surveyed. These anomalies occupy two broad roughly east-west trending zones in the northern and south/central areas of the property. Drill holes 96-1 and 97-3, currently testing part of the northern zone, are at depths of 1184 and 845m respectively. Drill hole 97-2, testing the southwest corner of VBE-1, is currently at a level of 1230m. VBE-1 is being jointly explored by CanAlaska, Columbia Yukon and Falconbridge, with each party contributing equally to the $3.3 million budget.
