RE: "...real disconnect between stock prices and business prospects..." Is it that business prospects will never justify current prices or that the time lag to justification is too long? If it is the former, then that should be stated with an attempt to support it. If it is the latter, then the time value of money in this exceptionally low interest rate environment needs to be explicitly stated and compared to the expected lag.
