Old habits die hard. Besides, even if it's junk, if you're in at the right time, you can turn some coin. You can lose your a$$ pretty fast too but as I now live in Nevada, I might as well let it roll here instead of dropping it in every 7-11 and grocery store around looking for my spare change. RE: Scottrade, Not sure if they charge more for under a buck. Looking into them. Freetrade seems hard to beat though if you don't mind putting up the $5k and going with no frills whatsoever.
