Al, Clinton bombed the country because it refused full access to UN inspectors who we now know destroyed much of the WMD infrastructure in Iraq...so don't say that nothing was accomplished. It's not true and we now know the extent to which it is not true.

So you think Clinton also went to war based on made-up intelligence? Or you think the WMD were there until Bush got the U.N. inspectors back in there?

Either way, Saddam was clearly a man who wanted to get his hands on WMD. Whether or not he hid them or destroyed them while the world was looking, he was a man who clearly had to go. Clinton supported the policy of regime change, just in case you forgot:

news.indiainfo.com

Clinton administration in 1998 adopted the policy of regime change as it was the "the only way you are going to be able to get disarmament" in Iraq, Powell said on March 8, adding Saddam's regime "will not do it (disarm) on its own, it will never change its spots".
