You're right Richard and being boastful is not my typical style. I am now engaged in an attempt to make more money in a year or so than I've made in a lifetime ... 30 years or so of work. I am taking risks; big ones and the bigger the pot grows the more risky it is. I guess I am trying to constantly reassure myself that I'm good enough to pull this off. I can't tell you how many times after even minor market pull backs I have thought "Why not just sell out a put the money in bonds!" Lots of people tell me to go into an asset preservation mode but I am determined to make a million ... enough to retire on ... soon. Jet fighter piolets are usually cocky and have to be to take the risks they take. Maybe that is the syndrome I'm suffering from but thanks for pointing it out to me. I'll try to tone it down.
