Commanders in the field realize that troops are going to grumble, no matter what. They would grumble for having to drill on a hot day at Fort Hood, Texas too.
And who can blame them for wanting to come home? That's pretty normal. But, they will do the job they are there to do.

I was listening to the CENTCOM briefing this morning and it is amazing the progress that they HAVE made in Iraq. If one listens just to CBS, MSNBC or CNN , one would think that the country has totally cratered.
