its really quite funny how stupid the guys who write those articles are. and maybe they should walk into one of the stores before they write chit.

Family Dollar and Dollar General, despite their names, are NOT dollar stores (i.e. where everything is $1.00); they are DISCOUNT stores. in fact, very little in those stores costs $1.

There are, of course, dollar stores (99-Cents Only and Dollar Tree being the most prominent). And nothing Kroger or the other grocers do is gonna stop either of those companies (or FDO & DG, for that matter....)
