It's about the WAY it was done, unilaterally, not the fact Saddam was taken out in general. It was very deliberate, and almost every piece of evidence given us was either false, exaggerated or out-dated. Bush did indeed lie. I'l give you two recent ones.

"We already found them" (about WMD's)
"The CIA cleared it" (anpitnthe Niger comment)

In fact we have found no evidence of WMD's and in fact the CIA repeatedly warned long before the speech and shortly before the speech that the Niger intel was very questionable. You can argue technicalities, but that goes back to Clinton saying "I did not have sex". He later said he meant INTERCOURSE not oral sex. So maybe technically he wasn't lying either. Same case here except Bush was not under oath, just talking to us about the most important matter a president can discuss.
