On quite a different and still the same subject - help me think this out, Jay. A dichotomy of a) competitive devaluation - "Im cheaper, buy meee...", and b) "the source of profits can only be net investment" - to quote our dear Doktor Richebächer. If both points are valid, then there may be one more bubble ore bubbles somewhere being pumped up and that looks (I feel like I cant think clearly anymore sg) like point b to me!
