You're right about that. I am skeptical about the Koran.

In Genesis 4 verse 10 it says ".....The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground." If the flesh is dead then what is crying to God? Is it the spirit that is still there? Is the spirit in the blood? And the blood is there all along.

But......getting back to the concept of time. Regardless of when the soul enters the new body we know that if it's not there already (which it could be) then it will be there as long as the new child is not killed in the womb. To God, who sees the end from the beginning, He sees that child as an adult. He's not constrained by our "time" problems in our universe. So an abortion to Him must be like tearing a fully grown tree from the ground. It's the same to Him as the seed, if you can imagine that. I believe the soul is there from the beginning.
