South Africa looking to strike

Do you still think they will strike?
It's really got me puzzled
And frustrated now since I sold GFI and HMY positions yesterday morning in anticipation of weakness as the deadline draws nearer.

Initially NUM wanted a 20% pay raise
Then they say settle for 10%
Chamber counters with @ of 9-10%- rejected.

Rand is likely to continue gains on USD
So in those regards, a strike would hurt the companies.
However to counter that, it's hard to put food on the table when there is no paycheck at the end of the week

I just dunno.
However judging by the lack of conversation here on SI about it
I'm almost wondering if it's either already priced into the stocks or there will be an eleventh hour deal struck.

If they do strike though, that might be just what is needed to spike POG over $400
And NA miners will also benefit.
After today's gains
Starting to feel like the mining stocks are starting to price in POG $400 soon.
