deeply embarrassed by the mass graves, torture chambers

That's what is so great about Charles, his vivid imagination. I haven't run into anyone that was "embarassed". Frankly, I've been wondering why such discoveries were considered "news"...What did you conservatives think happened to all those Kurds and Shiites? Did you expect to find their bones still laying in the desert?

Charles is also very selective in his memory...."the right to privacy"....on one issue...it's a fabrication of the Supreme Court and doesn't exist...on a different issue....it's a virtual hallmark of the Constitution.

I read an op-ed by Charles the other day on this Iraq War stuff. Pretty poor, IMO. He pointed out that Clinton had indicated that something needed to be done as well. And closed out with the comment that the difference was that Bush did something about and Clinton didn't. He seems to have forgotten that the Congress gave Clinton a strong resolution that prohibited Clinton from using US forces; while the Congress gave Bush a strong resolution that allowed Bush to use US forces. I supposed Charles would say that Clinton should have ignored the resolution.
