Saw Wolfowitz on PBS last night. His behavior was ... messianic. I have little doubt he believes what he is saying. Moreover, like many "leaders of a cause", he will not be changing his mind. With an almost religious fervor, he “preached” the neo-con gospel. The Iraqi “victory” was a monumental triumph, and any current problems will soon disappear. The content of your post stands in sharp contrast. The current situation is clearly unstable and will not endure. Before this year is over, which of these contrasting views is closer to reality should become obvious. Having had some personal experience in the MIC (Military Industrial Complex), I would advise not to underestimate the significance of incompetency in determining the final outcome. JMO lurqer
