Very positive, 10-min. report by David Faber on CNBC at the top of the hour. He'll be back at 10:30am EST with an exclusive interview with the board member in charge of the CEO hunt.

Markula is out! About time. As one of the longest tenured members of the stumbling Apple board, it was time for him to go. I bet he was the one who sold $1.5 million shares, when he learned of the coming pressure to oust him. One last jab at Steve Jobs, to try to spoil his return to power.

Yes, Microsoft's Internet Explorer will become the browser of choice with the Mac OS. Who cares? Most Mac addicts can still use Netscape's Navigator to their hearts content. If this helped get the new and improved support/backing from Microsoft, it was worth the bargaining chip.

Great lineup of new board members. This company is shaping up to be a real leader in the tech industry.
