Two Businesses Raided In Securities Fraud Investigation

State agents have raided two Las Vegas businesses in a securities fraud investigation. Secretary of State Dean Heller's office says warrants were served this week at Creative Business Solutions and Nevada Heart and Imaging Centers.

They're owned and operated by 50-year-old Lawrence S. Yanez and his wife, 30-year-old Emily Yanez. No reports that anyone was arrested. The Yanezes aren't immediately available for comment. Heller's office says Lawrence Yanez tells customers he's a day trader who can double their investments.

He's also accused of soliciting investments in Nevada Heart and Imaging. The investigation is also looking whether sales reps are licensed and whether the securities being sold are properly registered. It's being conducted by the Nevada Investment Fraud Task Force -- including the F-B-I, I-R-S and U-S postal inspectors.
