Even though the share volumes on stocks like CDE are in the millions, the total dollar volume is still relatively small. 8 million shares of CDE at under $2 is less than $16 million. An article I read yesterday indicated that the hedgies are piling in to silver, that kind of money ($16MM) is just a drop in the bucket if you have billions to work with. Just some thoughts...
