I think Brett should start shutting his yap more.
Talking of retirement as much as he has only dumps gas on a fire...can't be good for team cohesion either. This Hovan stuff is fun...but why risk bulletin board material.Slice him and dice him on the field Brett...otherwise leave it alone.

News
Brett Favre stirred things up with new favorite rival, Vikings' defensive tackle Chris Hovan, on Wednesday. In response to reports that Hovan has thought about facing Favre all offseason and has his No. 4 Packers' jersey hanging in his locker as motivation, Favre told the Green Bay News Chronicle: "Like I've said before, Hovan is a great player, and I'd love to have him on my team. But, get him a wife and have some kids and get a life outside of football." Favre added: "This will probably get back to him, and he'll start barking and stuff like that and put more stuff of Favre up there. (But) five or six years from now, he'll be like, 'Gosh, what an idiot I was.'"

The fantasy implications of this rivalry are non-existent, but we love this kind of stuff. Football needs more "arch-enemies" like this. We're awaiting Hovan's rebuttal.
