Glenn,

Do you vet the polling information you post? For instance, the post to which I'm responding seems to be, to say the least, suspect:

quinnipiac.edu

From the puffery in the very first paragraph of self-adulation they claim:

the poll was selected a "winner" by the New York Post

As we both know, the New York Post is the premier example of yellow journalism in the nation. Run by Lachlan Murdock, it is the flagship of the News Corp. fascist media assault upon democracy in America.

FWIW, quoting from such a suspect site tends to make the rest of your worthwhile contributions seem a bit less credible....

Remember, Murdock's Pox News Motto is:

"We Deceive, You Believe!"

Much better polling is being done by truly independent shops. For instance, to date I have found no reason to castigate the work of the Ipsos/Reid organization, though I'm looking for the dirt on them, just as much on all other polling/propaganda shops.
