Just as, in our Revolutionary War, if the redcoats had caught George Washington, they would have (after hanging him as a traitor to King George), made very sure that this information was widely dispersed, to prove to the rebels that he was dead. Maybe leave the body hanging on the gallows in Boston Common, for a few weeks, to "quell rumors" that the rebel leader was still alive. Go back and reread what you and others of the War Party said about the display of dead and captured Americans, during the dash to Baghdad. Is it totally impossible, for you to put yourself in someone else's shoes? Are you totally blind to hypocrisy?
