Naturally, this letter will come to you as a surprise since we have not
met, permit me however, I am Mr. Femi Kuye, one of the security detail of
President Charles Taylor of Liberia. My duties under the government of
President Taylor included the movement of certain amount of money that was
meant to be used for the procurement of Arms and Ammunition out of the
country when the pressure from President Taylor's opposition and the
International Community, especially President George W. Bush became
unbearable for us in government. The funds were to ensure our future when
we go into exile as this was inevitable with the rising opposition. These
said funds were transported out of my country under Diplomatic Cover to a
security company in Europe.
I am contacting you, as the need to for me to have a foreign partner in
your country has become necessary due to my plan to relocate to that
country so that I can purchase some lands and start a new life. Therefore,
I decided to contact you, for your assistance, so that I can divert these
funds to a more stable country as yours. I must re-iterate the importance
of having a citizen of your country to front for me, since I intend to
purchase some lands for farming, I do not know much about your
land-ownership laws, I thought it wise to seek the help of a citizen to
act as proxy for me
My reason for contacting you, is that there is a sum of Five Million Five
Hundred Thousand United State Dollars (US$5,500,000.00) which I sent to
the Security Company in Europe in steel metallic boxes. This particular
consignment is not in the knowledge of President Taylor as the pressure on
him is too intense on him at the time of departure of the boxes. This is
what I want you to receive for me. I will upon receiving your consent
prepare every document to enable you receive this money on my behalf,
pending my arrival to meet with you in your country so that we can both
make further arrangements with regards to the purchase of lands. For your
assistance to me, you will be entitled to a commission of 25% of the total
sum that you will be receiving on my behalf for the above purpose. I want
you to immediately confirm your interest in the project as soon as I get
your response; I will give you more details on how we can proceed.
I am waiting urgently for your response, while also requesting that you
