And more importantly to the claims he made, the hedonic adjustments had little to do with that anyway, as if it could be measured.

Besides... if everyone with a computer and internet were so much more productive, wouldn't it show up in the productivity numbers without adjustments??? You'd have all that much more revenue and income, with less hours worked [productivity].... the proof in all this will be in the productivity numbers anyway?

My personal example is this:

1.) My investment bank upgrades all our computers.
2.) The next year our revenue is flat.
3.) The new computers are 3x as fast and are pretty, but didn't lead to squat.
