re:What does that have to do with anything? Why are you annoyed with me?

I'm not annoyed with you, just wondering how you can dismiss information that leads one to conclude Iraq had a weapons program and either had or planned to make more WMD.

Because how were they to build WMD if they didn't have the facilities to build them?

Perhaps when they saw us coming they either hid things really well or simply disposed of them - time will tell, not this political snipping.

This is insane......lets assume that you are correct and that scattered all over Bagdad are bits and pieces of a nuclear devise, buried in back yards and in flower pots. Please tell me how effective is such a nuclear devise. What part of the 'stone age' is Iraq presently occupying? Its been obvious for some time now that Iraq is no better than your typical third world country. What more evidence do you need that Iraq was not the threat that Bush/Blair suggested it was?

I am not politically sniping.......I am p*ssed. I suspected strongly last fall that Bush was BSing us. Now the truth is coming out and that BSing is costing our country a small fortune......its our money that's making sure the Iraqi people are happy and I don't like it. Look.......there are many people in the world for which I feel sorry. The Burmese are screwed, so are the Congolese, the Irish, the Palestinians etc. Nonetheless, I don't want my gov't to have a Messianic complex and spend our billions to free those people.

Now you understand I am addressing Bush's current thesis for attacking Iraq. We all know its more about the oil than anything else but Bush isn't about to admit to that motivation.

As for the 16 words thingy, the president did say the brits claim, and they still do. Sort of a non-starter issue.'

It depends on what Brit you talk to.

re:However, asking if I bury centrifuges in my backyard is basic BS and does nothing to move the argument forward.

Not true, the only argument you are moving forward is trying to discredit Bush. The mountains of evidence regarding Iraqi WMD count for nothing against a smear campaign.

Smear compaign? Okay you tell me where the WMD are! And btw a centrifuge in someone's backyard does not count.

The media should spend more time pressing for this supposed 7 mile high collection of documents. I want to see our efforts to find things re-doubled now that a potential reason to continue concealing information has been removed (Saddam's sons). Getting excited over a SOTU address stating a fact that the Brits think Iraq tried to buy Uranium is not an issue.

IMO the media is doing exactly what its supposed to be doing....exposing any duplicity by the gov't. Its freedom of the press, not "lets try to make things look good".

The problem as I see it is all that WMD crap is still there, somewhere - perhaps buried in another flower garden.

And you think this is worth $5 billion per month?
