When price is stuck in one of these big intraday ranges I personally feel it pointless to call direction - in that time frame.

Just after lunch I posted elsewhere some musings that the diabolical outcome might in fact be up; the daily chart isn't all that bad after all. Despite a down close yesterday, clearly price was able to achieve a higher high.

Agree with the other poster - this morning the futures were extended in the shorter intraday timeframes and it was time to drop shorts and look for a surprise.

But the Bottom Line: price is still ina fairly tight intraday range crafted over a number of days. Anything could happen next week.
