I agree with that post. Bush is nothing if not methodical. I believe when he sent David Kay over, he said, "I don't want innuendo and anecdotal results; I want solid evidence, and I want it when you can present a conclusive case".

I think Bush saw the weekly leaks -- "We found this, we found that" turning out to be nothing, as a serious problem and he stopped it. When Kay has the goods, he is going to come back and present them and a lot of liberals are going to look like damned fools.

We've had senators come back from Iraq and say, in effect, that Kay is developing some real evidence. We've had Kay himself discuss the extensive documentation that has been discovered, then a group of senators were briefed by him last week after which they reported major progress in the hunt for WMD.

This is all looking like something that is going to blow up in the Dems' faces. It doesn't matter, they already look like fools -- but it will be the icing on the cake for Carl Rove.
