I'm personally sad that our media chose to run the pictures. Make NO doubt about it, it was the Media who chose to run them.

In the local Boston papers, the pictures were not plastered full size on the front page at least. They were actually far smaller in size than the majority of the pictures accompanying news from the region, or Afghanistan, so I think they took kind of a middle course. If showing smallish pictures that had been clamored for by some percentage of the Iraqi population as "proof" is the worst they can reproach us for....

If they hadn't been shown, we'd probably be treated to another screed from the likes of you know who on how "secretive" the Bush administration is, you get it coming and going and can't win.
