Question for TC2000 experts:

I'm looking for the easiest software set-up that will give me streaming real-time comparisons between two quotes, such as a stock and another stock, or a stock and an index. I don't need to see the base numbers for the two quotes in the same chart (although it would be nice), but what I really want is a real-time percentage differential that could be treated the same way as a stock or index symbol.

Can you do this on TC2000? Would it be hard?

If this is not clear, let me give an example. Say I want to quote and chart the relationship of MSFT to $SOX. Friday, MSFT opened at 26.28 and $SOX opened at 384.30. Friday at 3 pm $SOX was at 388.11 and MSFT was at 26.76.

First, I would like to have a "Quote" called let's say "dMS-SX" that would return a value of MSFT/$SOX, or 6.84% at opening and 6.89% at 3 pm. I would also like a standard Change quote, so that at 3 pm the daily quote for dMS-SX would read "+.05%".

Second(if the first part is not hard enough), once the figure is generated, I need it to be chartable itself -- so I can get moving averages, volatility, etc. In other words, I would much rather have the function return a primary value in a chart, rather than act solely as a study on MSFT.

My current set up (ESignal) would allow me to do this in javascript I *think* but chances of me learning enough javascript to try it are not too good, especially since I'm not sure a quote window would run the formula as a quote.

And finally, if TC2000 can't really do this, does anyone know a package that can? I don't mind learning a programming language but I don't want to do it and then find out that my program won't do what I want.

Thanks.
