great, more of this at Oracle. Not only is this bad PR due to sexual harrassment, but it draws attention to the fact that oracle has morphed into an indian company. I hope she throws the book at Oracle. Oracle knows that they can't create a company with layer upon layer of indian management and not get this kind of activity. An ethical company would disperse american management throughout so that good corporate ethics based on the USA will be adhered to. I'm sure she will win this, there have been so many personnel complaints against Oracle that the San Mateo courts rule against Oracle every time. The lawsuit said that Oracle knew or should have known of the different cultural and legal context in which Anand was used to working in India, where managers can often exert unfettered power over their female subordinates.
