hello karen-

we ask that visitors not feed the
racoons in stanley park, not because
they are unfriendly - they are very
friendly - but because it is to their
disadvantage to become dependent on
humans for food. they will become
quite bold. one walked through
my neighbour's pet door, looking
for dog kibble. it can be somewhat
disconcerting to see a racoon at your
dog's dish when you come down for breaky
in the morning <g>

i'm pleased that you enjoyed your vancouver
experience.
