Question on disk drives. I have a Quantum drive that I partitioned in half. Each partition has about 9 GB space. One partition is fine meaning I can see my data fine, but other on I can't see the date in Windows. I know the data is there because I can see the files in DOS mode. The message I keep getting when I tried to view this partition in Windows is "Drive not formatted. do you want t format now?"

I don't want to format this partition til after I recover the files on it. I have tried partition magic and the same message "drive unformatted" appears. Since I can see the files in DOS any suggestions on how I can get to the data? I didn't want to copy every single file while in DOS if I can use another program to just copy the files over to the working partition. I'm currently running Win 2000 Pro.

PS: I have reinstall windows on my working hard disk, but still I don;'t see the other partition.

TIA
