Absolutely, this is what extreme conspiracy "thinkers" will do. The American people are outraged about incompetence. We are somewhat jaded because we realize it is endemic "in the system." That is, democrat or republican, the nature of intelligence bureaucracy brings out the worst in government, including what I call "Hoover disease," which is "keep it to myself so nobody can see I'm wearing a dress." I believe there will be massive changes as this plays out. However, what the proponents of this thread can't face is that there is not a shred of support that the US did this to itself or that Israel did it. Why won't these people admit that they are just plain wrong? Graham and Kerry are both so gung ho to be President and both have the power (G as member of the committee and K as billionaire) to use any evidence against Bush that there is. Fact is, there is NONE, again other than typical government incompetence. I want to end again by emphasizing that as bad as our government is, it still is by far and away, the best government of any superpower in the history of the world. It still needs significant improvement.
