I believe you are wrong. I don't believe he alleged any necessary" design. But it is clear from what I posted (and from what I have yet to post if you prove uppity) that Freemasonry had infiltrated the Church and caused fear and consternation.

Thank you for the honorary...in spite of your atrocious spelling of "grandpa". It is not clear to me that you were designating the Papal Throne as an ultimate goal of Freemasonry. You seemed to be sneering at the idea that Freemasonry could have ANY goal related to the destruction of Catholicism by any means. I think there is a difference in meaning between a goal of Papal influence a la Geoffrey Fisher, and the gratuitous designation of "ULTIMATE" goals. And you said nothing about "Ultimate" goals in the post to which we are referring. You said this:

The fact is that there is nothing "ridiculous" about the allegation, whatsoever.
