Hi rkral, actually, I have a couple of clients who use Cisco IP phones and they have no problems at all. They are actually pretty neat to tell you the truth. In fact, corporate networks are much faster than the Internet, so sending voice packets with QOS is not a problem.

Correct, me if I'm wrong someone, but I think I read somewhere that Cisco also has deployed Cisco IP telephones to all their employees, some 30K people. That's a huge deployment.

Anyway, IP telephony on corporate networks has now become one of those no-brainer cost savings moves that companies are making. Within 10 years, most major U.S. companies will be using IP telephony instead of PBX. Many are undergoing the switch now.
