Countrywide upgraded at Morgan Stanley (CFC) 72.00: Morgan Stanley upgrades to Overweight from Equal-Weight, raises 2004 est well above consensus, and raises their target to $96 from $83; firm says the stock is undervalued, as mkt share gains and variable cost mgmt could be worth almost $3 in EPS upside in 2004; also, conservative MSR valuations and rapid growth in high-return segments (insurance, banking, capital mkts) suggest returns will be higher than consensus expectations.
