The recession has been over for awhile, therefore there is a recovery. As I pointed out earlier, the job data for the Roosevelt Administration was a lot worse than the current data, and, in fact, we are about at historical norms for unemployment, perhaps a little higher. There is a possiblity we have turned the jobs corner, since unemployment went down slightly. Anyone who criticizes Bush for having an unemployment rate around 7 percent has to tell me why Roosevelt was not the worst president of the 20th century with unemployment, prior to the war, ranging from about 14 percent to about 21 percent. Especially when Bush has been in office for a couple of years, but Roosevelt was in for many years more with abysmal employment, even though most of those years had positive GDP growth........
