Matt: Clearly, the stock trading "weather" for VLNC is a little on the stormy side right now. Today's the most volatile I've seen in some time. It's apparent the MM's are playing games, maybe ahead of Tuesday's call. Let's see, anyone know the MM's in this stock?

For those curious as to why it's possible for MM's to have so much control, read an earlier posters linked article articulating the particulars of NASDAQ trading. It's an informative read that should be required of everyone who wishes to pursue investments on NASDAQ. They really should get rid of MM's as middlemen(IMO). I think your analogy about poker is appropriate. Playing with your hand open is EXACTLY what you're doing on NASDAQ. And with greed being what it is, it's no wonder volatility and NASDAQ are synonymous!!

But this is about VLNC. I guess we'll see more of todays volatility straight up to conference call day. Let's hazard a guess, if the stock is taken lower early in the day and then rebounds toward days in(both today and on subsequent days), I'd say the MM's are adding to their "stock pile." Why? That's anyone's guess, but I'll guess it's a positive indicator. After all, didn't someone like Fred state analysts have seen the plant in recent days?

Regards!

John~
