RE Silver use.

Russ I am aware that copper is now being banned as a preservative in wood. Several states are in the process of doing so and have dates for the faze out in place.( Pressure treated wood is a huge industry and needs to find a much less toxic preservative- there are rumors that continued use of the toxic brews used at present could create as much impact on industry as asbestos has had in recent years )

One of the proposals is to use silver as a wood preservative. I believe there are experiments going on at this time to test how well it works ,cost and safety.

I know you are a hard fact guy. And this is mush. But its the best I got and may get some meat tossed out on the thread.

I will post any meat that I come across.
