The fact that you told an off color joke did not open the company to legal action, but if the HR person heard it or received a complaint and did nothing, the company would have legal problems. Sexual harassment is often not about sex, but power. Some women have learned to take advantage of the system that was put into place to change a corporate culture that has cost companies 100s of billions of dollars in inefficiencies, just so some managers could get free ass and so that their male underlings could think that they could. As a shareholder, I don't want to be paying for some fat ass to get laid.
