Who cares? Just before the war there were two options. Continue/intensify inspections or go to war. The US and Britain made a case for war based on trumped up intelligence, the ROW wanted inspections. Now we are mired in a deadly fight and can't get anyone to support our efforts there. Even if we were right to go to war, the manner in which our administration handled the matter cost us allies and now that is costing us American lives.

Gen Meyers is in India today trying to get the goverment there to reverse its decision to not send troops to Iraq. Meanwhile, the administration should be going back to the UN and asking for help, but will not, because it fears loss of political stock at home. And our soldiers continue to die. 7 in the last three days alone.
