The last six months I have heard dozens or hundreds of market opinions from "I think" to ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY about when the next top would occur. I can't think of anyone who got it right. A bunch of people who called a July market low now call a September or October market low. And if that doesn't work you can move out the target date two more months every time until it happens to be right. Big whoopee. Hency my skepticism and lack of interest in market calls. Who cares - if you pick good stocks that beat the market then market calls are superfluous. It's a game for suckers. How many people here trade the market indexes instead of individual stocks? And I don't trade short-term except for sport - partly why daily market moves don't interest me.
