joser- it's a little late for you. i found that site a long time ago. in fact i already got rated (very unfavorably) for asking if anyone knew if it was possible to rent a skateboard built for two for kath and me to use to get from belize international to corozal. there's tons of information on there, lots of knowledgeable people and a nice search feature. i love reading the travelogues. i'll post the letters from belize on there someday (if i ever get them finished). i didn't know you and harold were interested in belize. i thought you were leaning toward loreto. here are a few pros and cons on... baja vs. belize sailing so-so perfect water temp&clarity so-so perfect hurricane danger so-so (summer/fall) frequent target cost of living low so-so language español english winter climate perfect perfect crime rate very low too high population density low low (geo. diversity and eco. conserv.) low high rain 5-10 inches 50-150 inches internet access so-so slightly better caribbean access panama canal you're there baby medical access no good but cheap no good but almost free -p
