<Al Qaeda Planning More Hijackings, Officials Warn
By Susan Schmidt

Lindy, I'll bet a Tonka Truckload of cash that there won't be an airliner hijacking. The crew and passengers would go nuts and accept significant casualties to stop them. It's simply impossible to hijack a large aircraft now.

The pilots will be swinging an axe, the passengers swinging duty free bottles, fists, belts and anything else, pillows, blankets, carry on baggage, burying said hijackers in a mound of stuff so they won't be able to move.

I suppose they could hijack light jets or other aircraft. But those won't bring down buildings. Well, tents and houses, but not impressive buildings. They'd just go splat and make some limited fire.

Where's that website where I can make some money?

AlQ has had their day. They are down to the rats and mice terrorist stuff now, which, after the 11 September attacks, will look like a joke. Richard the shoe-bomber almost had some success, and they made quite a mess in Bali, but overall, they aren't having a major impact.
