F.A.S.T.1TM Device Helps Emergency Medical Personnel Save Lives
Med-Tech Systems Introduces Adult Intraosseous Infusion Device to the U.K. and Ireland
Horsham, U.K. – July 23, 2003 – Med-Tech Systems today announced the addition of the F.A.S.T. 1 System for Adult Intraosseous Infusion to its product line.
The F.A.S.T. 1 System allows emergency medical personnel to gain vascular access utilizing the sternum in shock and trauma patients in a safe, rapid, and reliable manner within 60 seconds with a very high success rate.
F.A.S.T. 1 is a CE-Marked disposable medical device that has been adopted in over 500 different ground ambulance services, aero-medical emergency and transportation services, and military groups, including U.S. Special Forces and U.S. Marines.

The device will be demonstrated for the first time in the U.K. at the upcoming British Trauma Society Annual Scientific Meeting (October 1-3, 2003) and at the Life Support and Trauma Care 2003 meeting (November 3-4, 2003).
