Hi Steven,

Novells weakness has been in marketing. It appears that the pieces are in place to cure the problem.

Technically we've blown through 2 levels of resistance in 2 weeks with flying colors. There should be minor resistance at 8 3/4 that can be done on low volume but the road is pretty much clear all the way to 10 3/4.

It depends on your investment style. What's your time frame? What's your target price? How well do you tolerate ups and downs? Will you have funds in reserve if you need to average down? etc.

IMO Novell is one of the few stocks around that isn't so overvalued that an interest rate hike won't drive the price into the gutters. I also believe that with proper marketing the potential for growth is very definately there. In this market growth is everything. If Novell can even hint that revenues are increasing anything could happen.

I tend to be more optomistic than some folks on the thread but I'm ahead as of this writing and that makes a difference. I've also been down as much as 14 grand since I bought my first shares of NOVL.

It always pays to do your own research and make your own decisions. Read the SEC filings. Read as much news as you can find. Read as many of these posts as you can stand (there are a lot of them). Then if you think it is a good idea, call your broker.

Regards,

Don
