Quashed by the Senate.

Many of us here have more than a few suspicions about manipulation of the economic markets. With Bremer and others needing increased funding, manipulation of the Pentagon Futures (if sufficiently popular) could have been a source of funds uncontrolled by Congress - think Iran-Contra. And then think of whose name comes up in the Pentagon Futures flap - Admiral John Poindexter

But it remains the baby of the Pentagon's Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency, DARPA, which is run by the retired Admiral John Poindexter, who himself is no stranger to controversy.
